#foamgate for RESMED S9? Another 'Wait-and-see'! More infotainment for all!

1. See Video from USA Medical Supply (posted 13 July 2021)

2. Within this post (cpaptalk.com, Thread date, Mar 23, 2014) this DIYer posted S9 disassembly. 8th pic down shows the 'foam in-question'. Removal of foam appears to be 'easy', once blower module is removed.

When something is presented as truth but it has not been subjected to peer reviews it is questionable. Just because someone says something does not mean that it is correct nor accurate. The burden of proof is on the presenter, not the reader.

Without more information the ideas presented during the videos and other places are simply opinion. Everyone is entitled to theirs, but it does not make it a fact.

I have an s9 that has almost 30000 hours on it. Still works fine, foam is like new

Yup, the one's I've taken apart show no foam degradation at all.

People should get it into their tiny little brains that there are lots of different types of foam. Some manufacturers engineers actually *think* when designing a product.
