No hypopneas last night with new Airsense for Her!

Post by Jeanne Ellen » Thu Jun 24, 2021 10:26 am

I shelved my Dreamstation yesterday because of anxiety about the recall and purchased the Autosense 10 for Her with some trepidation because change is hard. However, after trying it out last night, I was so excited to see that I had NO hypopneas! First time in five years! Hypopneas and flow limitations are my major issues and have deviled my sleep for years. Cpap has helped enormously but I’ve never been able to get solid sleep on a regular basis. Of course, this is just one night’s result, but I’m hoping that it’s a sign of good things to come. Thank you to everyone on the discussion boards for your advice on transitioning from the Dreamstation to ResMed. Your suggestions about turning on the EPR function and setting it at 3 were especially helpful. The recall may be a blessing in disguise for me even though I’m out of pocket $800!

Almost everyone that's tried both Resmed and Philips Respironics machines prefer Resmed.
