ResMed Needs to Weigh In
ResMed Needs to Weigh In
Not only should ResMed make an affirmative statement about the safety of their foam in their various machines, but here's another issue.
Are the Resmed AirTouch F20 Masks (using memory foam) safe? If they do not step up, there will be conjecture and false rumors. The issue is too big now, given the Philips recall. Silence by ResMed should be taken as a concern. Any ideas on how to help get ResMed to talk about their foam products?

Re: ResMed Needs to Weigh In
This is a supplement to my previous post.
Looks as if they have already weighed in. See this:
https://www.resmed.com/en-us/other-manu ... call-2021/
ResMed stated, "Yes, all ResMed devices are safe to use and are not subject to the other manufacturer’s June 2021 recall. Patient safety is ResMed’s most important goal. We have not observed the issues that the other manufacturer is reporting with its devices; ResMed devices use different material."
"ResMed devices, masks, and accessories are safe for patients to use, and are not subject to the other manufacturer’s June 2021 recall. Continue to manage your therapy normally in the way that supports your health and wellness. If you have questions, contact your physician or equipment provider."

NOTE: The AirTouch masks use memory foam, the primary ingredient
in many mattresses and pillows.
Methinks the small poultry doth run about like a bird recently encountering the hatchet.

Does Mazda "weigh in" every time Ford announces a recall? no, no they don't.

Well, their senior execs obviously decided that they needed to "weigh-in." See their website which now has a heading of "Philips Recall."

Maybe they read my post.
