It's been a while since I posted here, since I first was prescribed and learning how to use CPAP therapy. I'm 3 and a half years into the life of my dreamstation, and I have a box full of tubing, masks, etc, I figure if insurance pays for it, I'll get it on the prescribed schedule, even if it doesn't need replacement right away. So, I have extras

Now, this morning, I wake to the news of a Phillips recall. I have severe apnea, and took to heart my doctor's advice to USE the machine, or I can die. So, this sudden news that now I'm NOT supposed to use my machine pending repairs that might take a year, seems ridiculous. I know my doctor must be overwhelmed with calls, so no, I haven't called them yet to ask.
My question for now, If I were to switch machines (Airsense 10 maybe?), are my accessories compatible across machine types? I've used Amara View happily for several years now, along with dreamstation heated tubing. Could I plug these items into another machine and would they work?
