Respironics doesn't care about your health evidently

Post by Dreaming1 » Fri May 21, 2021 5:31 am

Watch this video by lanky lefty about the crap Respironics feels like they can pass off as their mistake on peoples' health with degrading foam getting in the breathing tube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuR2oY5tYyU

This should incite some fun!

Already being discussed here and the reasons being found for it (primarily these ozone cleaners are the culprit it seems):

In the comments, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuR2oY5tYyU , it is said that the DS2 is not compatible with OSCAR. A little foam in the lungs - I can take it. No OSCAR - unacceptable!

Again---never having used that brand: PRICELESS!
(Nervously wondering WTF-ing sneaky stuff Resmed's been up to)
--besides the blatant price-fixing, which we all know about.

Didn't resmed change the DC power cord again?

Finally something we can agree on.

But I have faith that will change.

Proprietary stuff, like Resmed's ever-changing power plugs, is a guaranteed money-maker.
That is, up until it has the effect received by Kenmore vacuum cleaners,
which were neither compatible with universal nor previous year attachments.
Another reason I do not miss Sears . . .
Luckily for Resmed, the power interfaces are durable, and rarely need replacement.

I second the issue with DS2 not being compatable with OSCAR. I have not been able to upload my data from DS2. It's a bummer.

Folks....new model machines not being compatible with current available software is very common. It has happened every time there has been a new model machine released.
The folks working on OSCAR will eventually get enough data to update OSCAR so that it is compatible.....just be patient.

Oh...if/when the ResMed AirSense 11 gets released later this summer...don't be surprised if it doesn't work either.

It's fixable....we just have to not panic and go take a patience pill. There is still data available...not as much maybe but enough to get by for a while.
