Stuck without feedback

Post by Bouteloua » Sat May 08, 2021 6:18 am

I am a complete apnea novice who lives alone. What I lack is a feedback system.

Sleep test last week - 89 events/hour. Issued a DreamStation 2. I have been fussing with this for a week and think I could be doing better. AHI=16.

The Dreamstation2 comes something called Dream mapper. I have tried loading it on my computer, Iphone and Ipad, pairing it with bluetooth. No data shows and buggy as heck. The technician at the CPap store gave up and sent me away with a phone number to Philips Respironics that no one apparently ever answers.

Then I tried loading Oscar and importing data from the SD card. Nope. (This could be my fault because I changed the default location of the data and perhaps Oscar couldn't find it.) Or it could be that Dreamstation 2 is too new.

So I am left with the machine telling me my AHI when I wake up. There is so much more I would like to know in order to be successful with this CPap thing. It is unreasonable to expect my doctor or the cpap saleman to do it for me. I would love to get the kind of data the Cpap technican provided to me when he accessed the SD card.

Suggestions?

And thanks. I so appreciate finding this forum.

OSCAR doesn't support the DreamStation 2 yet. The development team has been soliciting data from DS 2 owners to hopefully incorporate support.

Perhaps you could post in the OSCAR v1.2.0 topic and get in touch with bonjour or BlueDragon to supply data.
