Phillips Respironics 5 yrs old kaput!

I need a new machine stat!
My local supplier carries Resmed air sense 10, Respironics Dreamstation and Res med S9. Anything I should stay away from? Cheers

The ResMed S9 is a great machine, but it's old. It hasn't been manufactured since 2015.

There are about a half dozen models in that series. Make sure you get the AutoSet or the AutoSet for Her (good for men also).

I usually just buy from CPAP.com. They have always been MUCH cheaper than the CPAP suppliers local to me. I started using Philips years ago because they had 12v DC machines that I could run directly off a battery when camping where ResMed used to have 19V (or something) machines. I have always had good luck with Philips but I have never tried ReMed. Here are some online prices to compare with:

Personally I would just go for the least expensive Auto machine with a humidifier. In all the machines I have had (in the past ten years at least) I can't really tell a difference. To me they all seem quite effective with the major difference being looks more than anything else. I haven't wasted time and money on a sleep therapist in the last dozen years, I just have my regular doc cut me a prescription and then I scan it and send it to the online places.
