First Night at Home with CPAP

Post by joeslide » Wed Mar 31, 2021 6:13 am

I was finally able to get some sleep equipment. I ordered a Resmed Airmini and AirSense 10 Auto. I used the Airmini because the AirSense has not come it. The P10 really made the rims of my nose hurt, but I hung in there with it (changed to the Large size). After about an hour this morning the soreness went away. MyAir score was 95/100. I love the way I feel right now and I know its going to get better...

Get some Lansinoh Lanolin Cream and use it until your nares toughen up.
Many here have used it to good effect.
A little goes a long way.

You are doing great! My MyAir score last night after 6 months of CPAP was 82. Next you will want to download and install Oscar viewtopic/t180497/OSCAR-v120-is-released-10102020.html There is more info here than you can imagine and very helpful people.

Hey, you're off to a great start! You're going to love the Airsense 10 Autoset when it arrives. You were smart to go up to a large with the P10; I hope your nose will adjust well, maybe with a tiny dab of Lansinoh, as has been recommended. You might also experiment with how you place the head straps, increasing or decreasing the tightness of the fit.

Please let us know how we can help as you get used to treatment.
