Afib and sleep apnea

Post by josearturodominguez » Sun Mar 28, 2021 7:11 pm

Hello before I started my treatment a month ago I was having pretty bad afib episodes told my doctor about it and she send me to the cardiologist
It was almost daily, after a hard day of work, thank God I noticed after I started treatment a month ago I have maybe experienced it 1 time , does this mean treatment is doing its job? I have better mood and energy so far so good very happy with the results
Anybody else had a similar experience?

For sure, effective osa treatment tends to cool down the mood swings and snarky, snappy comments. You can tell those whose treatment isn't effective here.

Never had afib so can't help with that.

Keep going to the cardiologist.
Cpap is likely helping, but there may be more to be done that cpap cannot.

Yes I will be there the 15th hopefully the doc can figure out what was causing it I can say I am about 90 percent better afib was pretty bad before cpap
I would want to hear a similar case so I can know I am in the right path, and what to expect I really hope so

My Afib didn't resolve with CPAP, but it has been greatly controlled with magnesium.

I take magnesium (trialed under the supervision of my cardiologist) and have altered my diet to include foods with magnesium.
