Suddenly A Problem

Post by crookneez » Fri Mar 26, 2021 10:00 pm

Hi guys, I haven't been around for a while but now I'm hoping for some advice. I have an Resmed Airfit S10 Autoset and use a P10 Nasal Pillow. I've been using that combination for many years (with an S9 Autoset and Air Mini) without issue. But, suddenly in the last couple of weeks I'm getting warnings to fix leaks. In all other areas I'm scoring well but with leaks now I'm regularly in the 13 out of 20 range. I know it's an issue because my wife is complaining about the noise. I (think I) sleep right through and don't notice. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what was your remedy. The slimline tube is probably 10 years old and the P10 headset is pretty old too. I'm baffled! The only thing I can think of is the headband might not be as taught as it once was, but that's never been an issue in the past. I have ordered a new tube and headset but thought I'd still ask the question.

Any headgear can only be washed so many times before it loses its spring.
Using the little buckles helps to cinch them up--but only so much.
The p10 is probably one of the worst.
I have several, and rotate/wash them until they die.
Then I have to get replacements.
I write the date on new headgear, so I have an idea how long they will be useful.

Excellent response thank you. How long do you get from your straps on the P10?

Apparently N30 headgear also work.
They have a clasp for adjustment.
