I wish to thank all who responded to my question about my nasal irritation caused by my CPAP.
I get the feeling that my Heated Humidifier is the answer. Although I've been using it every night I don't think I've had it turned up high enough.
I have spoken to my DME today and she agrees with all who says to increase the setting.
I've been using it at a setting of 1 and 2. I was afraid to go higher because I was using about 2/3 of a tank of water every night. My DME says because my pressure setting is very high (15) I should be at a higher humidifier setting.
I'll try setting of 4 tonight and maybe even go to the Max of 5 if needed.
Thanks again to all and I'll keep you all posted as to my progress.

Follow Up on Nasal Irritation
I believe in hard work but not in making work hard.
Ron,
In addition to turning up the HH, have you tried any nasal gel? At a pressure of 15, it couldn't hurt and may help somewhat. I use AYR Saline gel with aloe and it is available at most stores like Walmart, Target, any drug store...etc. It runs about $4.00 a tube. Just put some on a q-tip and smear around inside your nostrils. It keeps them moisturized and comfortable. It's definitely worth trying.
Good luck!

Hi Ron,

I tried Ayr Gel with Aloe and found it extraordinarily drying. I was given a product called RoEzIt by my DME. It's more of a lotion consistency and is nicely moisturizing. You might want to look for something like that. If you Google RoEzIt you should be able to find it.
I use an in-room humidifier near my CPAP. I figure it won't hurt and if my CPAP is pulling in air with more humidity it might help.
I have an integrated heated humidifier on my RemStar Pro M Series. I don't think it's that great, either. I use a full face mask and even at the top setting (5), I don't get any rain out. I have read posts where people add an in-line humidifier to my setup to get more humidity. I've considered that. I haven't seen a single negative post about the HC 150 - everyone who has it seems to really like it. If I get an in-line humidifier, that's the one I'm going to get.
