How would y’all recommend? Any specific cleaning solutions or would just plain dish soap and water do the trick? (Carefully, obviously, to not damage electrical components)
Cleaning Dreamstation
Cleaning Dreamstation
I will readily admit that I haven’t used my CPAP (Phillips dreamstation) in entirely too long, but a recent flare up of the apnea has me reconsidering. I’ll be getting a new mask, headgear, humidifier tank, filters, hose - whole shebang, but need to some good ways to clean and sanitize the cpap unit and humidifier itself. My dumb self didn’t think to just store it in the bag it came in

And don't waste your $ on any ozone cleaners - waste of time!

There is no way, nor is there *EVER* a "need" to 'sanitize' anything.dbreweur wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 4:55 pmI will readily admit that I haven’t used my CPAP (Phillips dreamstation) in entirely too long, but a recent flare up of the apnea has me reconsidering. Re: Cleaning Dreamstation
I have a dreamstation, and a dreamwear full face mask. Once a week I soak for 10 minutes the humidifier water chamber, heated hose, mask, frame, and headgear in warm water with Seventh Generation Dish Liquid Soap Free & Clear (purchased at Walmart) Just about every morning I clean the mask with Parents Choice Fragrance Free Baby Wipes (purchased at Walmart). Every so often I wipe down the dreamstation with the same wipes. I rinse the dreamstation reuseable filter every couple weeks with water. I have well water so I chose to use distilled water in the humidifier water chamber.
