Hi folks,
So I was just diagnosed with sleep apnea, mainly when sleeping on my back and would like to get a CPAP to help solve the problem. I was told that the Airsense S10 is a good cheap option (LSAT, I'd like to buy one from you...) and would love to flash an alternative firmware on there once I have things dialed in. I have some experience doing this kind of thing with hardware programmers so I think I should be able to handle it. Has anyone here done so for BiPAP functionality? If so, what firmware/hardware revision is your machine. Would appreciate any help here.
Thanks!
Airbreak and Airsense S10
Re: Airbreak and Airsense S10
Not sure if this is possible but why would you want to do this? Seems like you could end up with an expensive brick.

There is no such model.
Why do you think you need a bilevel machine? What was your diagnosis? Do you have a prescribed pressure?

Re: Airbreak and Airsense S10
The AirBreak project seemed to dry up and wither on the vine.
Initially, during the early COVID period when there was a lot of interest in "ventilators", there was a little activity. But since the initial project announcement by the developers, there has been no activity.

I was interested in trying it on one of my spares, but there just wasn't enough activity and community interest for me to risk bricking a perfectly good machine.

Hey slobber, glad you know what I'm talking about here. I figured this site had a decent population of people who know how to do this mod and have similar motivations to mine. Their GitHub doesn't have any recent commits but did have a decent amount of chatter for a while.
Do you know of anyone that has done it?
I will leave this post up in case another informed poster comes along. Thanks!
