These last seven months have meant really rethinking how to do my skincare regimen. As a back sleeper, I have always felt fortunate to goop it up without messing up my bedding.
I wear a Dreamwear full face mask. It took some time, and the purchase of fleece face guard thingies (not sure on the technical terms), which have aided in not waking in the morning with "bridle face". However, I get these two marks over my lip line from the mask. Luckily this era makes face masks a normal public item, but in the long run, I need to find solutions.
So, two things:
- what are your tips on reducing facial marks/imprints?
- are you doing your skincare just in the morning? Morning and dinnertime? Forgoing completely?

Mornings...and a mask that doesn't need headgear which I assume isn't an option for you which is sad.
Age 68...I would get dents from the straps even with mask strap padding on them on my cheeks and bags under my eyes from the constriction of fluids from the straps across my cheeks. The strap covers helped reduce the dents but didn't help reduce the bags under my eyes.
Anything we can do to diffuse the pressure on the skin can reduce the lines....
You might look at adding a mask liner to help with the lines from the mask and I don't know but you might be able to do some of your usual nightly skin care routine with it. You would likely need to wash the liner more often but it's maybe worth a thought.

Best facial cleanser: unscented baby wipes, right before bed, then use it on my mask.
No lotion, creams, or any frou-frou serums.
Heredity gave me decent skin--why cheat?
I leave the goop for those who need it.

I use the Bleep now, so there are no straps, but when I used other masks I used moisturizer every morning with no problem. If you used it before pap use, you can probably still use it now.

I follow the rule to never put anything on my skin I wouldn't be willing to eat, under the theory that at least some of it ends up in the bloodstream. Occasionally I use coconut oil on the dry skin on my legs. I use NOTHING on my face and people tell me I have beautiful, soft, smooth skin. I wash my face in the shower (OK, I admit I wouldn't eat the soap!) once a day. That's it.
Ponds ingredients, besides water, include: Mineral Oil, Isopropyl Palmitate, Petrolatum, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Ceresin, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Oleate, Candelilla Wax, Triethanolamine, Laureth-23, Fragrance, Carbomer, Disodium Edta, Dmdm Hydantoin, Methylparaben, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate. I wouldn't eat that stuff. It's not going on my skin.

Many people overtighten the mask. Masks are designed to be tightened lightly. Watching a few videos on fitting and adjusting the mask can be useful - https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... +face+mask
