You know I did look at trying this but I never could find a tape that would stay all night for me plus it was a lot of time consuming work and my time is worth a lot to me. Not to mention the work involved. I don't remember if I tried the tape you mentioned but I think I did....will go see if I can find it to confirm.

Oh...I did find one tape that would stay put but I could only get 3 nights out of one very expensive piece of tape...so wouldn't save money and still meant a lot of work.

Everyone's skin is NOT the same.
Dry skin is more able to "connect" with adhesives.
My skin is moister (oilier) than most--frustrating from my teens through my 30's--now a blessing (usually).
Dpeterzell is lucky to have found a tape compatible with his skin.
Worth trying if one has the time and inclination. Not every hack is easy.
Less so if one is busier with other things, or can afford it/has cooperative providers/insurance.

One concern i have is that Bleep is an infant company. If everyone did this (i know they won't) it wouldn't survive. That would be bad indeed.
It is such a niche mask in a vertical market that is overcrowded that i an surprised they are able to make profit sufficient to stay alive.
Stuart is the CEO and support person, that should tell you alot.
I love the solution so much more than anything I've tried so I feel vested in being sure it succeeds. I have faith that the price will come down over time. Amazon has it down to 25/ box ... when introduced they were 50.
Call me a fan boy...

I'll bet the people who developed this are contemplating next generation modifications, too.
Oh...you can take it to the bank. Stuart is and has been working on the next generation for quite some time now. It's a slow and expensive process and covid hasn't helped things. I can't share what little I know or have heard of (which isn't much, too be honest) but he's been working on improvements for the next generation for quite some time.

Be patient. The wheels turn slowly. When I first heard about the Bleep I was wanting it so bad....and it still took me 2 years of waiting before I got my hands on the Bleep and you wouldn't believe the amount of begging I had to do to get it early.
Research and development in any of this stuff isn't a fast paced process even with deep pockets and of course the Bleep doesn't have very deep pockets as it is.

Improvements are being worked on right now....trust me. It just takes time and money to get it all done.

I would not worry about diy hurting their bottom line.
The labrat looks like way more trouble that most would do.
Think didgeridoo . . .

I hope that Bleep thrives, now that they've innovated this remarkable thing.

Seems I was using old DreamWay versions. Stuart has sent me an updated version. Can't wait to try it, I'll be unconscious in 15 min.
You are going to love the longer more flexible hose. It's so much like the P10 hose that I am having a hard time telling them apart.
The bikini for holding the filter material over the vent holes and making a nice diffuser is pretty sweet as well if you like having the vented air diffused (which I do). I got by with just sticking a filter over it before the holder was released but the holder makes it nicer.

The improvement I want to see happen is with the port attaching problem that some people have. That little problem is going to be harder to fix but it is on the slate for improvement. That one will take longer.

Member rem001, posted this work around (in another thread) to his port attaching woes.

Reposting here for more exposure.

I was still having occasional problems getting my ports to click in easily and found a trick that helps me. I save old ports and click them in a couple of hours before bedtime.
When it's bedtime I pop them out and the newly applied ports seem to click right in easily. Probably all in my head but it seems to work for me!!
