Skin Irritation

Post by csb » Sat Dec 19, 2020 8:15 pm

I'm getting some skin irritation from the headgear on my P-10. I see they make headgear pads. What brand have you had good luck with?
Thanks, CSB

I don't use that particular mask, but I do use strap pads from Padacheek.com. The owner is a member of this forum and an XPAP user herself.

I'm not exactly sure what the problem is... but Lanolin cream may help, possibly before you receive the pads. It can be found in the baby section at Walgreens, Target, etc. It's for nursing moms but it's helped me and many of us on the forum. Check it out.

Wash your face before masking up.
Contact dermatitis is fairly common, and the predominant cause is soil
trapped between the skin and jewelry, watches, or snug apparel.
