So Clean System

Post by Farmerjim » Sun Dec 13, 2020 5:51 pm

I use my So Clean system on my Resmed CPAP machine and after a year I destroyed my Res Med 10 machine. I still use my So Clean just to clean my mask.

how long do you think it will take to destroy your mask using no clean?

honestly, it isn't doing anything that plain soap and water won't do.

it's too late for you, but i'm responding for anyone else tempted to buy this system. it's unnecessary and costly. plain old elbow grease does so much more and saves you money.

Good call, the mask is a lot cheaper than a new XPAP. but it also. However Used Lungs cost more than both together. Jim

You do not have a machine?
I destroyed my Res Med 10 machine
What are you using the mask for that it needs pretend cleaning and why do you hate it so much?

From the EPA:
"Whether in its pure form or mixed with other chemicals, ozone can be harmful to health. When inhaled, ozone can damage the lungs. Relatively LOW AMOUNTS of ozone can cause chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath and, throat irritation. It may also worsen chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma as well as compromise the ability of the body to fight respiratory infections."

"Some vendors suggest that these devices have been approved by the federal government for use in occupied spaces. To the contrary, NO agency of the federal government has approved these devices for use in occupied spaces."

From the FDA:
"No home CPAP cleaning devices that use ozone gas or UV light have been approved or cleared by the FDA. The FDA has not determined whether CPAP cleaning devices are safe. The FDA does not have evidence whether CPAP cleaning devices work to clean or disinfect CPAP equipment of germs or allergens."

So, the frog says only losers buy this stupid stuff.

I would also worry if the FDA, WHO, FBI, CIA, IRS or anyone else said they were approved and safe, I'd look into how they would profit from it. Follow the money, it's how you find the truth. Jim

Jim, in case you are not aware, you quite likely have ALREADY been "chipped".
Since you were in the military, "they" had many opportunities to insert a tracking chip under your skin.
The implants for pets are the size of a grain of rice, and if placed correctly can NEVER be found by the "trackee".
If placed beneath fat tissue, it may be impossible to detect . . .
HAVE FUN LOOKING.

{'ve been Slipped, but not Clipped! In 1965, I don't think they chipped us, we were just Cannon Fodder, no need to waste the time. Even Basic Training was cut short cut to 7 weeks instead of 8. I only went to our Field Hospital one time to have my arm stitched up. Come to think about they could have been in the GammaGoblin injections they gave us monthly. the bad side of being in a Med Bn, too many needles looking for holes to make. It was also called The Peanut Butter shot, gived you know where by weight, left a not the size of a golf ball, then the pill for Malaria that gave you the 3 day trots. The good old days. Jim

Ozone can damage the internal components...not sure how but it dries out the foam inside the blower and causes it to fall apart and people are finding foam floating in the water in their humidifier water chambers.

Resmed has even said that using these devices will void any warranties.

I wouldn't have one in my house...it can damage my machine, my mask and my lungs. It's a poisonous gas.
Soap and water will kill anything that might get on my equipment and even if you use the SoClean they tell you to wash the dirt, snot, oils, grime off your mask before using it. That sure as hell doesn't save me any work.

Ozone is a molecule of oxygen containing 3 atoms instead of two.
O2 is fairly stable, but readily reacts with other elements to form oxides.
O3 is much less stable, and way more reactive, forming oxides very quickly on electronics,
causing destruction of electronic components and other things.
Small wonder Resmed considers it poison to their equipment.
The same thing happens to living tissue--like lungs, etc.
See the passage I quoted earlier about asthma and other respiratory problems.
The federal offices who SHOULD be watching out for us--are out to lunch.

And . . Another tidbit of ozone's power:
From wikipedia, results of laboratory tests:

"Lethal dose or concentration (LD, LC):

LCLo (lowest published)

12.6 ppm (mouse, 3 hr)
50 ppm (human, 30 min)
36 ppm (rabbit, 3 hr)
21 ppm (mouse, 3 hr)
21.8 ppm (rat, 3 hr)
24.8 ppm (guinea pig, 3 hr)
4.8 ppm (rat, 4 hr)"

Sweet guys--these scientists; Apparently, the animal subjects were lab animals--(horrors!)
But how did they get a HUMAN to "volunteer"?
Note: I am relieved that no frogs were harmed--but I still feel guilty . . .
