Hey everyone. I've had consistent results with my machine now for about a month plus after a few months of adjusting settings and changing masks. I'm now using the P10 nasal pillows with a chin strap to keep my mouth closed and have had good results. I had been increasing the pressure gradually but my aerophagia was getting worse and worse so I returned my unit to auto mode and it's gotten better, but I still wake up with a painful mid-section every morning that doesn't subside for a few hours. It's somewhat debilitating and affecting my ability to eat and exercise.
My main questions:
Can I make my numbers better?
Would a different pressure min and max help those numbers? I tried constant pressure all the way up to 11 without much change in AHI, but the increased aerophagia likely was keeping me up all night.
Is this a case for a bi-pap? When searching for answers I read someone mention that the bi-pap helped a lot with aerophagia; though I seem to have higher CA's on auto so would a bipap make that worse?
