First download to Encore Pro... CONFUSED!!!

Post by cletourn » Thu Mar 08, 2007 4:46 pm

I just did my first download to my Encore Pro software and the MyEncorePro Software. It shows compliance data from my start date of 2/27 but only show extended data from 3/4 to 3/7! What could have happenned to all my other data from 2/27 - 3/3? I only got compliance data for these dates. Help!

The smartcard only holds 7 sessions of detailed data but it keeps 6 months of stats data.

Is it possible that you haven't "included" those dates in your data request?

Make sure you click on Full Details and Date Range.

Jim, shouldn't he have more than 4 nights if it stored up to 7?

Yup, checked that. Data is hiding or floating in outer space!

Your not going to find it because its gone. The smart card only stores 7 sessions of extended data.

But Jim, he only gets 4 days of data. Not 7. Is that the dreaded M series glitch?

Depends what machine he has.

Mine took a break these last two days. At least now the machine is mine and I can erase the smart card and see if that helps.

I'm a programmer Jim, not a doctor!

The smart card stores seven sessions, not seven days. If you get up to use the washroom for example and shut off the machine this usually starts a new session (but not always, I have no idea why. Another Resperonics mystery) The seven session limit really annoys me given the current state of storage devices.

Aha... this would seem to answer my question! I had gotten up several times a night the first week with panic attacks and bathroom visits. I turned off the machine each time. I also used it during a couple of afternoon naps. So I guess my solution would be to do a daily download? I think I have remained in bed and slept rather well for the last few nights and that must be why I have only the recent data? Thank God you all are here to help me through this.

Yep. That's my experience as well. Usually, I get five or six days on mine but not always. I don't think I've ever gotten a full seven days.

Bill

Yep. Every 3 or 4 days is probably fine. Depends on how often you normally turn on-off the machine.

I find that when I get up at night to go to the bathroom, the session doesn't end. I get separate sessions if I stop treatment for about an hour or more (gotta love insomnia). I haven't figured out what the exact timeframe is to start a new session, but it does seem to be less than the few minutes it takes me to stumble to and from the bathroom.

I would download daily or every other day.

And how do your numbers look?

I would download daily or every other day.

And how do your numbers look?
Here are my numbers for the 3 days I got data for:

Average AOA 0.3
Average AH 2.7
Average snores 2884.7
Average AHI 0.4
Average OAI 0.0
Average HI 0.3
Average SI 369.8
Average Apnea duration 48 seconds

So is this good or bad?
