Breeze headgear replacements, 3d-printable

Post by jaggz » Mon Sep 21, 2020 8:42 pm

If anyone's interested, I've been working on replacement parts for the Breeze headgear. (A couple images are attached)
For my patient (my wife), the nosepiece has been functional for days at a time (before it started hurting) -- she's become quite acclimated to the shape of the originals and it's a very sensitive thing. I'm also working on nasal pillows, where the molds are 3d printable and silicone can be injected (or squeezed) into the molds.
I've also created new brackets (the things that hold the nosepiece), the curved arch, etc.
You can see many more parts at:

And a video of the 3d printed shell at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbuV2jllzaE
(That one is printed in a purple ABS, and acetone-smoothed for strength and to get rid of the layer lines where bacteria would otherwise enjoy their lives.)
