HC150 hose size

Post by jokerl90 » Thu Sep 10, 2020 2:54 pm

I just received a new HC 150 heated humidifier to use with my Respironics system one cpap machine. The humidifier that came with it failed.
The hc150 has a 22mm hose from the cpap to the humidifier and I have a 15mm hose from the humidifier to my mask.
Will this be a problem? Using a 22mm and a 15mm together that way.
Should i set the cpap to 15mm or 22mm if it's not a problem?
The chat person at cpap dot com said it's not a problem, but I'm not sure about that answer.
Many thanks for your help!

Not a problem. The rather short hose from your machine to the humidifier that is 22 mm isn't unusual.
Set your machine to the 15 mm hose which is of course the main hose and the much longer hose.
