Switched from a nose mask to a full mask

Post by gfarinas75 » Thu Sep 03, 2020 6:17 pm

I just switched from a nose mask to a full mask. My question is the transition hard? I’m used to just using the CPAP breathing through my nose. Now I’ll be using it breathing through my mouth. Will the transition be a little hard at first? Will it take some getting used to?

You can still breathe through your nose even with the full face mask if you want to. Nothing stopping you.
You don't just HAVE to only breathe through your mouth.

The reason I need to start breathing through my mouth is because I have developed nasal polyps, so they restrict the airway through my nose, making it hard to breathe through my nose. So until I get rid of these nasal polyps I will have to breathe through my mouth.

this is why it's good to stay in one thread when you are new. it helps people to read your history and doesn't waste your time.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
