M Series Clock Settings

Post by gtaro » Wed Mar 07, 2007 8:31 pm

Hmm...where to start.
This is my first post here, although I've been reading since October. I thank you all for the information I've gotten out of my time spent here.
I've been hitting the mask for a week, with questionable results. (no need to get into that just yet)

I work a four night on / four night off schedule from 7PM to 7AM. So my sleep comes at almost all times of the day and night at some point during the week. Since my lovely new bed partner, (the M Series) records noon to noon, it disregards the sleep sessions that straddle noontime. I usually sleep 9AM to 4PM when I'm working.

Is there a way to change the clock settings? I'd like to make it start a new cycle at around 6-9PM, as this is really the only time of day that I'm awake every day.

Again...thank you all for your post on other topics. They've been quite helpful for a number of issues.

Ciao,
Joe G.

Your post shows you have the Remstar Pro 2 Classic, not the "M"agic. If you had the software and reader, you can set the start time of day, in Encore Pro.

The clocks in the machines are set to GMT, they aren't user set-able. You need to find out which model you have as some can't use the software for anything worthwhile. Jim

Oops. Wrong machine. Thanks for pointing that out.

Investing in the reader is definitely in the future. Just not in the budget right now.
