Issues when sleeping in side

I have issues when u try to lay on my side , with cpap it feels like I’m suffocating in mask and have to remove it . Any ideas ?

Make sure you are not kinking the hose.

I can sleep on my back & right side perfectly fine but on the left side i can't breathe properly with Cpap.

Most people are good only on one side... you're not unusual.

I can’t lay on my left side without having issues , have sciatica on left leg so have to stay off of it during night, will be so happy to get my new bed sleepnumber smartbed

Jstanfill, we are willing to help you, but only if you give us enough information. We need to know the model of your ResMed machine--it's written on the front, right side right next to the humidifier, e.g. "Airsense 10 CPAP" down in the bottom right hand corner.



It's not that hard to tell us. When we know that, we can tell you how to find out the pressure settings. Unless your hose is kinked (you can easily check this yourself) there's no reason the mask should be causing a problem on your side, so it's likely the pressure settings.

Stick to one thread so we have all the information.

If you can't give us that info, you're on your own. Call your doctor or DME.
