Any particular reason you're on plain Cpap rather than auto?

I would say you are doing great...sleeping 9 hours with a low AHI. If you want to get rid of the snores, you might increase your pressure from 9.5 to 10....that may do it.

I think my results are better on plain cpap. Here is a screenshot of an auto cpap night.

The auto chart also showed a minimum pressure of 5, rather than the higher minimum of 9.5 that you're now using, and that's probably why your AHI was higher.

In addition to trying LSAT's suggestion of raising your minimum to 10, you might want to open up the max to 20. Your machine will go no higher than it needs to. Those two changes might clean up your hypopneas a little more.

But honestly, your current numbers are great, and if they are typical, you could just leave your settings alone. The VS2 flags are not as good a guide to real snoring as VS -- some people think VS2 picks up junk noise like friction on your hose -- and so there may or may not be an issue there to address.

I think the big question for you is: how are you feeling? If you're feeling rested during the day, then I'd say you're doing great and shouldn't worry about a thing your charts are showing. If you're not, that's another story. Could you let us know?

When you had it on auto, it was "set" wide open.
Raising the bottom pressure to 8 or 9 would eliminate a lot of the spikes.
Just leave the top at 20, unless it still runs wild.
Mine does, so I limit it to 14--all the comfort of auto, without letting the machine go crazy.

The main reason I posted was because I am NOT waking up feeling rested. I take a timed release 5mg REMFresh(melatonin) before going to bed and that has helped some.

Got it! Try a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 and post the results, would you? Meanwhile, do think about other things that might be affecting your continued cruddy daytime experience. When I started PAP, my doctor told me to follow the rules of sleep "hygiene." I thought they were mickey mouse and didn't pay them a lot of attention -- until I got desperate. And lo and behold, they helped. So see if there are any items on this list where you might try some changes to your routine.

• Keep a consistent sleep schedule. Get up at the same time every day, even on weekends or during vacations.
• Set a bedtime that is early enough for you to get at least 7 hours of sleep.
• Don’t go to bed unless you are sleepy.
• If you don’t fall asleep after 20 minutes, get out of bed.
• Establish a relaxing bedtime routine.
• Use your bed only for sleep and sex.
• Make your bedroom quiet and relaxing. Keep the room at a comfortable, cool temperature.
• Limit exposure to bright light in the evenings.
• Turn off electronic devices at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
• Don’t eat a large meal before bedtime. If you are hungry at night, eat a light, healthy snack.
• Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy diet.
• Avoid consuming caffeine in the late afternoon or evening.
• Avoid consuming alcohol before bedtime.
• Reduce your fluid intake before bedtime.

Thanks. I will give your suggestions a try. There are a few of those sleep rules that I will stubbornly not follow unless it gets real bad. :D :D :D

This information would have been helpful if you had included it with your first post instead of just plopping down a sleep report and asking for interpretation.
It is really helpful when we have a bit of history to go along with just a report.
I don't know of any forum members with a working crystal ball....I know mine is still in the shop.

Maybe you should get another crystal ball instead of being a post nazi and discouraging others from asking questions.
