vpap air curve cover?
vpap air curve cover?
Living in Colorado, I have to have a humidifier. If the vpap and humidifier or on the same side table, can I put a cover over the vpap machine ? Not sure if the moisture from the humidifier would damage or compromise the vpap machine?

Re: vpap air curve cover?
Just to be clear we are not talking about the humidifer that is part of a xPAP machine...
First, unless the xPAP is in the direct path of the humidifier's output, I doubt it is harmed by this.
But in terms of covering the xPAP, you might be shortening the life of the system because it gets its air though an inlet (where the filter is). If you block it, the machine will work harder, and possibly overheat.
I have heard it suggested before that a separate humidifier be used to help with patients that could not get enough from the xPAP humidifier.
Sleep loss is a terrible thing. People get grumpy, short-tempered, etc. That happens here even among the generally friendly. Try not to take it personally.

I think your XPAP has a case that covers it's parts, that should be all that's needed. Jim
