ENCORE PRO question
On patient compliance screen there is a interaction list, mine goes from 1-2-07 to present date, Do most of you keep this data in your Encore Pro, or do you copy it else where? The list of dates is quite long, and needs to be scrolled down to see the most current date. Is there any fast way of deleting past dates, I can only seem to delete one date at a time, is there a way to choose more than one date at a time to delete, or select a certain group. Not a major concern, just curious to learn.

Ed,
I've never deleted ANYTHING (except the previous years' Encore Pro reports after I've burned them off to a CD). I can go back to 05/14/05 if I want to.....and have on a few occasions to see what happened in the early nights of my therapy (out of curiosity).
Even at almost two years, my SQL database is only about 1.5 GB......I have plenty of room.
One ulterior motive is one that's come up on the board at times.....PROVING one's compliance......I can.
By using MyEncore (or Encore Pro Analyzer), one can look back at the past and see the ups and downs of various graphs. If you delete the interaction downloads, it's going to delete it from the database.
Like I always say......"It's YOUR therapy" (do whatever you want)
Best wishes,
Den

Re: ENCORE PRO question
I just leave it all in the database. I've got, like Den, all my data there. Perhaps unlike Den, Encore Pro has self-destructed data on a few occasions when I've read the Smart Card, so that I do have a few gaps, including one which is several weeks long!Hurricane wrote: Do most of you keep this data in your Encore Pro, or do you copy it else where?
I too like the ability MyEncore provides to see how AHI has changed over the course of my therapy.

I save the data I want to keep in a Excel File, I take the Reports, and save the pages I want a Adobe .pdf. (usually pages 4 to 10) Then I take the monthly .pdf and combine them in Adobe Pro so I have the Graph of every day of the month. I save that on a second hard drive, and delete the database dates, leaving just two months on the database. (But I am obessive.) Jim

Thats one nice thing about Encore Pro 1.7, they reordered the list so that the most recent is at the top rather than the bottom. A small but welcomed change.Hurricane wrote:The list of dates is quite long, and needs to be scrolled down to see the most current date.
Ed, I know what you mean by the new data being at the bottom of the list --it bugs me too.
I'm not a real serious data reading person, so here's what I do. I create a new patient about every 6 months: Linda 1, Linda 2, etc. That way I can keep the old files, but they don't get in my way.
Of course, if you do that, you can't combine all the patient reports, but you can still print them out if needed for comparison.
It works for me, but I'm sure it wouldn't work for all the Data Freaks here. ....
