Spots on pillow and sheets

Post by NavyCPOret63 » Fri Jun 12, 2020 8:28 am

I recently purchase the SoClean cleaning system for my CPAP. Since then, I have noticed spots on my sheets and pillowcase. These spots are colored black to a dark brown. I know they're coming from my CPAP because they are streaked as if they were blown across the sheets and they are located around my head on both my pillows and my sheets. I contact SoClean about it and they never had anything like this described as an issue with their machine. Has anyone else ever experienced this with a CPAP? I have been using my CPAP for more than 10 years and this is the first time I've seen anything like this on my sheets and pillowcase.

It looks like blood to me. Do you have any small cuts or sores which might have bled? Or maybe a very slight blood nose?

Much as I despise the SoClean, I don't think we can blame it for this. However in my view they are a complete waste of money. Furthermore your warranty will be void if your machine shows any sign of ozone damage. You should probably have asked here before laying your money down for this device.

Totally agree, try not using your soclean for a while ( preferably longer ) and see if the spots disappear. It could be the residual activated oxygen ( toxic ozone ) could be causing nasal mucosal lining irritation causing the nose bleeds.

Make sure it is not bedbug feces, as shown in second picture at this location: https://www.orkincanada.ca/blog/signs-of-bed-bugs/

Where on the bed are these spots occurring?
A painless lesion could be sloughing off scabs as you move in your sleep.
These could be anywhere--including your scalp.
I ask because I was noticing a wispy dry flake in my left nipple (an innie)
for several weeks before my breast cancer diagnosis.
(It was dried discharge--but only a tiny bit.)
I suggest you see your doctor for a mole check.
Note--my breast cancer had a good outcome.

I recently purchase the SoClean cleaning
Get a refund, it cleans *NOTHING* and is a harmful device.
