Husband was discharged from hospital, after 4 days, when they were able to use a bipap running for 3 hours on and 3 off repeatedly which helped to open up his lungs from the unexplained atelectasis and help keep his O2 sat in the 90's. Unfortunately the insurance requires a sleep study to qualify for a unit and the sleep study places are closed due to covid. We have his cpap and an oxygen concentrator so we can keep him stable but if I can find a used bi level, ie bipap, I'd just as soon go after the problem instead of just treating the symptoms and would want a back up one anyway. Please message me if you have one available for sale - I realize it's unlikely but this was worth a shot.
