Resmed Airsense 10 humidifier

Post by Bikerjsa » Fri Apr 17, 2020 2:05 pm

I finally have replaced my trusty Resmed S9 with the newer Airsense 10. However, I never used a humidifier with the S9 and when I have used them in the past I found them rather annoying (I know, I'm strange).

The Airsense 10 has a built in humidifier but I see in the manual that humidification can be set to "off". So I was just wanting to know if anyone can confirm that it's OK to run the machine regularly with an empty water tank, and the humidity set to "off".

Thanks.

Perfectly fine.

Some choose to buy a sidecover for a smaller footprint.

perfectly okay. humidity is often regarded as a "comfort feature". i don't happen to agree with that. it seems more essential for MY sleep.

but hey we are all different.

I run it all the time with the humidifier set to off and sometimes with an empty humidifier turned on (oops!). No problems.

Thanks for the replies. I ran it, without humidity, last night. Worked great.

I may look into that side cover.
