I am about to start CPAP treatment, I was just wondering how long it might take before I start feeling results from being tired all the time and blood pressure reduced and just all around feeling better? I was just wanting to hear some results other people have had, everyone I have talk to that uses a CPAP say it has done amazing for them.

Re: Results
I'm pretty new to this (too)
Based on my reading here, the median answer will be "It Depends"
I think I was very lucky picking the right gear, we were friends right away; that meant for me zero time to adjust my sleeping habits. I was prepared for a 2 week tough time to adjust.
I felt better instantly, the first day waking up.
5 days after starting, circumstances forced me to do without my APAP for about a week, i noticed that too; feeling tired and foggy.
Now after a good 6 weeks, i would not want to do without anymore. I'm still tweaking my settings and continuing the learnign curve of optimizing my sleep quality
I have also seen several posts here from people who found it hard to start and/or stick with it.
- Get used to it by using it while reading a book or watching TV
- Try different gear if what you have is not comfortable or preventing you from sleeping
I hope it starts working for you well (and soon)

it's not going to be the exact same recovery for each user. it's been so long that i don't really remember how long for me. i believe it was around three months. the very first improvement was in nocturia. (a fancy way of saying peeing too much in the night!) before therapy, i was up at least four times per night to pee. now that i have my therapy optimized, i can go through the night without getting up.
that happened within a month. the other improvements took longer.
stick here with the forum. it's quite possible that your time in getting adjusted to the machine will be a rough ride. the experts here can help you.
good luck!
