AirSense™ 10 AutoSet Panel Light

Post by charlesrshell » Sun Mar 29, 2020 7:49 am

Is there a way to keep the AS10 panel light on bright all the time when it is on? Sometimes during the nite I punch the button to see the display and can't read it. The light is too dim.

I don't think so.

Why are you wanting to see the display in the middle of the night?

I don't know. Just wanted to see what it says and couldn't read it too good.

Same thing here.
Their dim is to damn dim for my old eyes. Totally useless in the dark-or nearly dark.
I put a small lamp by my cpap, and aim the beam right at the sensor.
(A 1/4" dark oval in upper right corner by the screen..)
While traveling, I shine a flashlight at the sensor before touching any buttons.
I don't have to "need" to know; but I WANT to--that's enough.
Same for you too, I reckon.

Thanks chunkyfrog, good ideas. But if the commander woke up I would be in deep water.

If possible, place the machine and lamp low enough so the glare will not interrupt her beauty sleep.

It's better for your sleep if you just wait till it's time to wake up.

Doing that would fall into the "bad sleep hygiene" category because it causes too much wakefulness. Could feed an insomnia monster.
But you are a big boy and if you want to risk the wrath of She who must be obeyed....you probably have a good idea what that outcome would be.

You are supposed to be Sleeping, not Playing with your XPAP in bed, I only have two concerns with my XPAP treatment is did I turn and is it running. Jim

Most people complain of it being too bright.
Use data to optimize your xPAP treatment!
