Water leakage from mask
I use a DreamWear nasal cushions mask which I love, but lately there have been drops of water that drip down from the mask. I keep humidity and the hose heat both at max of 5, and no heat in the room (around 60 degrees at night). Any thoughts?? Thank you.
Re: Water leakage from mask
Decrease humidity level and increase hose temp.

Re: Water leakage from mask
Condensation in the mask is often from the moisture in our own exhale breath tipping the scales and causing the air to cool to release the moisture.
Room air cools the air in the hose and mask and when the air cools too much condensation happens.

Are you using the side fleece wraps around the DreamWear frame? If not, that is the first thing I would add.
You have to warm up the air in the mask some how so that condensation doesn't occur.
Warm air will hold on to more moisture than cool air.
An ambient room temp of 60 degrees makes for the conditions being just ripe for condensation to happen.
Reducing the humidity setting may or may not help much. I know people getting condensation (rain out) in the mask and they aren't even using a humidifier with added water.
