Good luck to you but I hate to be the bearer of negative news.
The last AirCurve ST that I saw here had no takers at $100 offering. It's not a high demand machine due to the special needs of a person who might benefit from this model machine.
Now it can be used as a fixed bilevel machine that might work for some people in treating plain OSA if they prefer fixed vs auto but most people here prefer auto adjusting machines and this machine can't do that.
I would also promote it on your local craigslist to widen your market.

I’m interested in the newer model. What machine are you using now? Would you be interested in any kind of trade?

Thank you,

Jenray

I found the group looking for support after being referred for the inspire. I have been doing everything trying to keep from having to do that. I currently use the dream station bipap but was reading about the aircurve 10 and thought it may have more options that would help.

You need to really look closely at any of the bilevel machines because some of the are for very specific problems and they don't all do the same thing.
The AirCurve 10 ST....doesn't have some features that the AirCurve 10 VAuto has....and depending on which DreamStation BiPap you have...it may not have all the features the BiPap has.

The ST bilevel from ResMed....it's mainly for central apnea only or maybe someone with some very specific respiratory issues that require very specific ventilation settings. It's not a run of the mill bilevel machine.

You need to fully understand what your problem is and why you are own bilevel and the understand which model bilevels meet the needs of whatever kind of problem you might have.

Now comparing the Respironics bilevel ST with the Resmed bilevel ST...the ResMed doesn't really have any more features or options available and in fact the Respironics probably offers a couple of options that the ResMed doesn't have....when comparing ST models of the 2 brands.

I currently have the dream station auto Bipap with humidifier. I think I am looking for the aircurve 10 vauto. Can you compare those?

The Aircurve 10 ST is a single pressure machine with timed backup. It is normally prescribed for people with specific breathing problems such as COPD. It can act as a ventilator and force you to breath in if necessary. What you want is the Aircurve 10 VAUTO which is an auto adjusting bi-level machine.

I actually own both an older Respironics Auto BiPap (mine is one model older than the DreamStation Auto BiPap) and the ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto.
So yes, I can compare them....what options were you thinking that the ResMed has that the Respironics doesn't?
They do have differently auto adjusting algorithms but the setting options are mostly the same except the PS options.

It seems you prefer the aircurve and the Resmed brand. From what I’ve read that particular machine was more able to help someone who is having issues being able to use the Bipap for enough time every night.
