O2Ring oximeter?

Post by absurdlyTired » Tue Dec 31, 2019 12:24 pm

Does anyone use a wearable oximeter to monitor their oxygen? It's going to be some time before I can get hooked up with sleep doctor and develop a plan. In the meantime, I want to get an idea of how bad things are. I'm considering a Wellue O2Ring or something similar.

I wear a Contec CMS50F about once of month. Heart issues(among other reasons) can complicate the normally strong relationship between ODI(Oxygen Desaturation Index) and AHI(apnea/Hypopnea Index).

I also use a Contec CMS50F every once in awhile.

Saw another poster that used the O2 ring and it looked decent. I was tempted by it but settled with the CMS50F as well.

The reason many people use the CMS50F is that it is cheaper and the data can be imported into OSCAR (a program for tracking CPAP data).

How much O2 does it add to your body? Jim

I only wondered because I was going to buy 10 if it was enough to fix me! :? Jim

After 15 years of successful XPAP treatment, I thought I'd stop using it, It seems most people don't want to feel better and live better, maybe it's for me too...  Jim

Wearing rings would be easier that taking effort to manage XPAP use for yourself.
