not sure if this answers your question as I am brand new but I found out that simply locking the SD card before putting in your computer and unlocking when putting in CPAP machine worked for me.
Mike that completely unnecessary for the Autoset 10 your using, something else was going on
Are you sure?? I tried several things which didn't work but this simple fix has it working like a charm. Weird - I'm jut happy it's working. From what I understand there are some "bugs" with the software and this(or something similar) seems to be an ongoing issue based on the research I did. I think someone had a similar answer in this very thread so not sure what is going on??
Locking the SD card is something that that only the S9 model machine users need to do.
ResMed AirSense/AirCurve 10 users no longer need to do this.
The reason behind this caution for S9 model users is that some operating systems write a little text file to the SD card when it is inserted into the computer and when you put the SD card back into the S9 machine the machine doesn't like that little text file being on the SD card. It will reject the card and tell a person it is invalid and the only choice the machine gives is to erase the entire SD Card.
The software ResScan/OSCAR/SleepyHead don't care about that little text file being on the SD card...only the S9 machine cares.
I am using an AirSense/AirCurve machine and using Windows 10 (one of the operating systems that puts that little text file on the SD card) and I never lock the SD card and things download just fine.
Now back when I was using a S9...I had first had experience with erasing the SD card because I was always forgetting to lock it.
I am not sure why the OP here is having problems. It's possible the SD card is broken....it's possible that the machine has quit writing to the SD card....several possibilities but locking the card won't fix her problem. That I am 99.9999999999% sure of.
Oh....Respironics or other brand machine users....you have never needed to lock the card. The only model machine that has this little problem is the ResMed S9 model.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
