Airsense 10 Autoset Time

Post by K5MOW » Fri Oct 11, 2019 7:10 pm

Good evening everyone

Wanted to ask a question about setting the proper time on my older AirSence 10 Autoset. It is exactly 1 hour ahead and when I tried to set The time back one hour. The unit says you cannot set day or time back. Is there anyway to set the time.

Thank you Roger

When did you try to set the time?

It won't let a person go backwards when there is data within that reporting sleep session (which starts at noon per the machine clock).
If you tried to reset it this morning....try again now.
If you tried now and it won't let you....did you have any nap time today after Noon 12PM?

Or just leave it and when DayLight Savings Time changes in a few weeks...it will be correct.

I don't mess with the clock myself. Not all that important to me that the clock on the reports be perfect.
8 hours of sleep is 8 hours of sleep no matter what the start and stop times say they are.

My machine is set for an hour and a half ahead.
Then, no matter whether we are afflicted with standard or saving time, it is always ahead.
Then I can sleep a bit past noon in case I am feeling unwell.
Which is not often these days--which is fine with me.

Thank you both for the information. It is not a big deal. It was more of why I couldn’t do it. Now I know why and how to do it if I want. I will probably just wait for daylight savings time to change like suggested here. After all we’re only looking at a few more weeks.

Again thank you very much Roger

When setting time backward:
  • The ResMed day is noon - noon
  • Don't set it backward past 12:00 noon
  • Don't set it backwards into a previous session
  • If the time frame is sufficiently high set it back in smaller increments over a few days span

Also, best time to set the time back is just before you turn the machine on for bedtime.
