Hello everyone. I got my CPAP on August 14th and have been using it since. I have the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her and have the AirFit P10 For Her Nasal Pillow Mask.
My machine was set on 5-20cm.
I have the MyAir App which gives me almost perfect scores each night. Less than 1 episodes per hour, good mask seal, etc. Yet I haven’t felt rested since using my machine. I still take naps any chance I get.
I’m wondering if my pressure is set too low? Does anyone have any advice? I am getting a bit discouraged.
Still Feeling Tired
Re: Still Feeling Tired
Welcome to the forum.
How many hours of sleep are you getting?
Are those hours fragmented with very many wake ups?
Do you take any medications of any kind? If so, what?

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
Re: Still Feeling Tired
I sleep on average 7-9 hours per night. I typically only wake up about 1-2 times per night.

I don't want to discourage you, but some people don't feel benefit for a month or more. I was one of those people. My change was very gradual. After being treated with my machine, I noticed I could sit and work the crossword puzzle in the paper every morning and not fall asleep half way through, and I could sit and watch a movie on TV and not fall asleep. For me, that was a big improvement.

Thank you that’s good to know! I guess maybe I just put the machine on a pedestal and assumed I would feel better so much faster.
Re: Still Feeling Tired
I think I did the same thing. I've had my machine just about the same amount of time as you. I have good nights and awful nights. Yet, the machine tells me how great I did. I thought the machine would change my world from the second I put it on! Tonight will be the first night I'll have an SD card in my machine. I'm hoping some of the geniuses on this site will be able to help me tweak what I need to! There's such a wealth of knowledge here. I'm glad I found this place! Good luck with your treatment. Ask questions and read the newbie stuff! It's how we learn to take charge of our health!!

There are some lucky people that get immediate relief once they start using their machine. Others, like myself, take longer and the change is very subtle. One day it dawns on you that you are no falling asleep while watching a movie or riding in a car, and you wonder, WOW when did that start?
