Dyspnea

I have been using BiPAP for 5 months and love everything about it. However, I have developed daytime shortness of breath especially with exertion. I recently had an echocardiogram which showed my heart is pumping fine. Anyone else develop dyspnea after starting CPAP or BiPAP use? I am just wondering if it is related.

Are you seeing a Pulmonologist?

It's good you had your heart checked out.

Have you had a change in body weight?
Have you been seen by a pulmonologist?
Blood work to check everything is OK there? (I had a lot of shortness of breath with anemia)
Any change in your exercise routine?
Allergies or asthma?
Gastroesophageal reflux or Laryngeal reflux?

CPAP/BIPAP would be the LAST thing I'd suspect of causing dyspnea--all it does is splint open your airway so your own breathing can deliver air to your lungs. It does not weaken your lungs or diaphragm, it does not breathe for you so your body gets lazy or weak.
