Anyone here wear extended wear contacts? I wear weeklies and have been having issues. My eyes have been getting muscous like an infection is imminent so I’m tossing contacts like crazy. My eyes are always a bit red.
I’m super blind which is why I wear extended contacts. I can’t see the clock, I can’t find the light switch, I can’t watch TV before going to bed - which helps me fall asleep. So I don’t wear glasses before bed.
My eyes are NOT dry - ever.
I clean my mask and humidifier tank daily, hose and other parts weekly, cleaned and changed filters and do all the things required (I believe).
Any thoughts? Please don’t say give up the contacts. Please.

You may need to stop for a while, and see your eye doctor;
because redness can be an indication of hypoxia of the sclera.
Not a good thing.

I would check with your eye doctor just in case there is an infection or damage.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 10:08 pmYou may need to stop for a while, and see your eye doctor;

Ifyou think there is air blowing into your eyes, you might try some swim goggles of safety goggles.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

Re: Extended Wear Contacts and Cpap
I had to quit using them because additional capillaries were generating in my sclera.
The lenses were preventing adequate oxygen from reaching my eyes.
Not everyone can wear extended wear lenses.
I had RK after that. (Too early for lasers)
