data for helping with morning headaches
I have been waking up with minor headaches and I read that this could be due to sinus congestion, high pressure from my Phillips Respironics System One Bipap Auto, or lack of a heated humidifier. What data from the SD card should I be looking at to help diagnose this? I have a heated humidifier and I'm comfortable with the machine otherwise. Thanks.

Study the three items in my signature. Ask questions in this thread for help from plenty of members.kingwillard wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 12:53 pmI have been waking up with minor headaches and I read that this could be due to sinus congestion, high pressure from my Phillips Respironics System One Bipap Auto, or lack of a heated humidifier. As far as lack of a heated humidifier, it's July in Houston, do you even need a humidifier at all?
You don't have the machine sitting where an A/C outlet blows on it, do you?

Thanks for the info. The prescription called for a heated humidifier if I remember correctly. It's not near an A?C outlet.

If you used insurance to purchase the machine, the supplier should have provided the humidifier.kingwillard wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 10:54 pmThe prescription called for a heated humidifier if I remember correctly.
If you are self-pay, it's up to you whether you want to purchase the humidifier. If your nasal passages are not getting dry, you might not need a humidifier. I live in a much dryer climate than Houston and never use a humidifier. On the other hand, many people must have a humidifier. Individuals are different.
What kind of supplier did you get the machine from?

Re: data for helping with morning headaches
I haven't been getting any morning headaches.
Oddly enough, since CPAP has improved the situation uhhhhh, errrrrrrrr, you know, down there, Mrs. Dog Slobber has been complaining about having a lot more headaches.
Do you think there's any correlation?

Good move.
If your nasal passages start getting dry, you might want to try a humidifier. If you think you need one, ask secondwindcpap. They probably have one you can get inexpensively.

It came with a humidifier because the prescription called for it. Thanks.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 2:26 pmGood move.
