1. How to get Sleephead data to show Periodic Breathing (looks like it doesn't, even though my CPAP does)
2. How to repair pinprick holes in tubing
3. Learn what are the differences in managment, perspectives and tone (if any substantial differences do in fact exist) between this forum and others, especially Apneaboard
4. Determine which countries in Asia and Europe have the best value CPAP machines, and professionals dealing in their use (sleep doctors, respiratory therapists etc)
My experience with sleep apnea and sleep clinics is limited to Canada and India. If anyone wants to know what I see as being the differences, just ask. I may try Malaysia and Vietnam at a later date. I live in a country (Canada) with 'universal health care' meaning except for car accidents and cancer (where it is invaluable), medical care is rationed and slow. So I go overseas for chronic health problems where even my weak Canadian dollar goes further.

If you haven't had any, then SH won't show it. PB is overrated anyway.
Tape, or little dabs of silicone. (not the acid curing type though... stinky)
Better to buy a new one and put it in a hose cover so that your pinpricky pet won't be as interested.
In a nutshell:
Cpaptalk: facts are more important that feelngs.
apneaboard: feelings are more important than facts.
Good luck finding those answers in an american forum... not saying it's impossible, just improbable.

In Preferences / Events / Ensure Chetne Stokes Respiration is checked. Then in the bottom right ensure CSR is turned on.
I haven't experienced, but read a lot of people have had success with duct tape.2. How to repair pinprick holes in tubing
This forum has a lot of expertise and few restrictions on speech.3. Learn what are the differences in managment, perspectives and tone (if any substantial differences do in fact exist) between this forum and others, especially Apneaboard
Apnea board has some expertise, but has asinine and ridicules rules. There are sites you can't link or reference resulting in obscure references to vendor #13. They claim this is to preserve their educational and non-profit status. But they have no problem, risking their status while covertly distributing copyright manuals and software.
This place has expertise, and personality.
Occasionally people wander in and expect it to have strict moderation, when they know full well it doesn't. They get upset and want to change the way the forum is run.
They should make their way to Apnea Board.
I'm Canadian as well and understand your references to universal healthcare and prioritizing references.4. Determine which countries in Asia and Europe have the best value CPAP machines, and professionals dealing in their use (sleep doctors, respiratory therapists etc)

I can't speak from first-hand experience, but somebody posted that (s)he went to Thailand, and got everything (initial visit, overnight test, follow-up visit, and machine with all accessories + full set-up) for US$1100 (about CDN$1450 at today's rate).
Note that all CPAP machines on the market are dual voltage, so you will be able to use a machine you got in Asia in Canada and vice versa. You will only need an adapter or the different socket shapes.
