I initially started CPAP with a plain old Respironics PRS System One a few years ago. I moved up to an ResMed Auto 10 , but still have trouble getting more than 2 to 5 hours in per night before removing the mask. I remember the Respironics had a Check Mask warning with a never ending, repeating beep. I kind of miss the repeating beep because I think it compelled me to get my mask back on again.
My question is, do all Respironics machines carry this Alert feature? I am interested in the current BIPAP model (the white clock radio looking device) since I wonder if the dip in pressure on exhalation would help me be a better tolerator. Do i need a titration study for BIPAP before I can begin to use a BIPAP therapy mode?
Do all Respironics machines BEEP?
Re: Do all Respironics machines BEEP?
I have a Respironics Dreamstation and in 1-1/2 years have never ever heard a beep!

Mine will be beep when I go into large leak. I believe it is a setting in the setup.
