Ok so I have Kaiser and showed all the symptoms of Apnea.
They did a stay at home sleep test which consisted of a finger cuff for Oxygen and
an electrode that was attached to my chest.
Turned out that I was showing an incident every minute and my oxygen which she tested at 96 when awake
was going down to 56.
They but me on a CPAP Machine for a week and I'm going in today.
I'm very concerned with the Oxygen Issue will they be able to get enough info from out of the machine or should I insist on a
complete sleep study. Any advise is appreciated
Pardon me if my information is sketchy, I'm new to this and didn't know what to ask.
the Resmed Airsense 10 autosense seems to be the machine to go with.?
Any Advise to a newbie who's oxygen level goes down to 56

Welcome to the forum.
First of all...it's ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet...that's the correct model name....and yes...and excellent choice for machine.
Second...it's quite possible that once your OSA issues are dealt with effectively with cpap/apap therapy that your oxygen desats won't happen.
Before CPAP my O2 went to low 70s...once on cpap never dropped again.
If it bugs you too much not know for sure...there are overnight recording pulse oximeters that you can buy and use and verify that things are working....good ones from 50 to 100 dollars...if you want to get one...be sure and come here and ask about the model you are looking at. Really cheap ones don't record over night...and you want one that will record over night and not all do that.
