Current Pulse Ox reccomendation

Post by djtowle » Tue Apr 30, 2019 10:06 pm

Hello Cpap talk

I've been reading through old discussions and searching manufactures websites this evening and am running out of steam. Maybe someone already knows the info I seek.

I am looking for a pulse ox meter, prefer wrist with a fingertip sensor. Record through the night (don't need it every night). Import data into Sleepyhead/OSCAR, on a MAC. The more straight forward the data transfer is the better.

An iphone app and rechargeable would be nice bonuses, but easy, consistent reliable data transfer and import is most important.

TIA

Just out of interest, what are the kidney-mortgage options?

Nonin makes some for the 800 to 1000 and above range.

and then of course there is this little jewel.

I have heard of people spending over 2500 for a pulse ox but I have to wonder "why".
Lots of brands out there though at various price levels.

What pugsy said... and the thing is... those "cost 10-20 times as much" oximeters are no more accurate.

Can I get the data from these models into Oscar on a Mac without exploding my brain?
