Recycle Hoses

Post by LSAT » Fri Mar 01, 2019 5:11 pm

I don't replace my hose very often, but when I do, here's what I do. Cut off the ends and using a scissors cut the hose end to end.

As the picture suggests, to organize cables.

I use mine in a little different way. I slip the tubing and tape it a little way down the hose of my little shop vac and use it to get into nooks and crannies around my workbench, furnace and ,car interior. The rubber works well used as is and can be rigged with smaller ends .

Sheriff Buford mentioned that idea, too.
Great way to keep power and data wires from curious pets.

And I use a short piece to slip over the chain stay of my bike to protect it while I'm working on the drive train.
