Full face mask VS nasal nask

Post by Ioannispolo » Sat Feb 17, 2007 9:58 am

Well my therapy goes well. Though I have not found the perfect combination. I can't seal off the mask and cold air is blowing in my eyes. I take the mask off tow to three times during the night and most of the time I forget to put it back on and I wake up in the morning with no mask .What is the biggest difference between these two categories of masks and makes the full face mask different in use?
Do you have more than one mask? Why have you bought another one?

thanks guyz

A fullface mask covers the mouth and nose, when you are congested you can breath through your mouth and while it's not preferred, you still maintain the needed pressure to keep your airway open.

With a Nasal interface, if you mouthbreath, you can lose the needed pressure for treatment success. Most of us have many masks, trying to find the best one that works for us. Masks are the hardest part on the treatment, we all are different as to which one will work best for us.

Another thing that's needed is a machine and software that records data on our progress, so we can tell what's working Jim
