Airfit p10 questions
I’ve pretty much always been a mouth breather from what I know and I tend to not feel as comfortable at times due to congestion I get from my nose. There’s days where I’m ok breathing through my nose and other days where I’m completely congested. I do plan on seeing an ent to a rule things out but in the mean time I’m curious if it would be a bad idea to try out the p10 because it seems so light weight and easy to use. Anyone else have this dilemma? Right now I’m using a full face mask airfit f30 and naturally breathe through my mouth but it seems so bulky to me and has so many straps to get it just right. I also suffer from swallowing too much air at times making my stomach bloated in the morning. Epr 1 does seem to help some but something tells me I should really try breathing through my nose when sleeping if possible.

I too am a mouth breather but you get use to keeping it shut during the night. I find that even if I am stuffy the P10's work and actually clear out the nasal congestion. If the congestion is really bad I will use flonase just before bed and that works really well.

Thanks I will try it. It did seem to get really good reviews and doesn’t make it seem like you are putting on a mask like a jet fighter.

works well for me.
as to the stuffy nose, may i suggest flonaze? it's an over the counter remedy that can open up your nasal passages.
good luck!

Re: Airfit p10 questions
I have had sinus allergies to pollens & hose dust for years.
For the past 2 years, I have found I can use the P10 mask & breathe through my nose most nights. I think I have "given up" 1 or 2 nights per year.
I have tried full face masks for a backup but have not found one to my liking.

Re: Airfit p10 questions
I also use the P10 and have had great success. I have what's called silent sinus syndrome. My right lower sinus cavity is basically collapsed and is useless. My ENT has prescribed rinsing my nose out twice a day and Flonase (2 sprays in each nostril once a day). He said it takes 6 weeks for Flonase to be at full strength. It's safe to use everyday. It will take your nose some time to toughen up from the nasal pillows but that's only about 7-10 days. Use lanolin to keep it moisturized. You can also put it on before you put your mask on. Only takes a small amount. Best of luck!!!!

Re: Airfit p10 questions
Yeah I’m going to buy it and try it out. If I get a bad cold someday, I can always switch over to the full face mask again. Something tells me I need the air forcing my nose open to breathe not my mouth as much. I’m getting way too much air in my mouth and such a slow flow through my nose with is probably aggravating my apnea more. I currently have Flonase as a prescription, do you recommend to use it before sleep like an hr before?
Re: Airfit p10 questions
i usually take a squirt of it as i'm masking up. but your needs may be different from mine.ravenous28 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 2:42 pmI currently have Flonase as a prescription, do you recommend to use it before sleep like an hr before?
