Resmed elbow sticking to hose/tube

Post by blakesq » Sun Feb 24, 2019 10:31 am

Hi everyone, on my resmed airfit F20, the elbow sticks to the hose. When I try to clean the mask every week I take Elbow off the hose, but the elbow is so hard to get out of the hose, I am afraid it’s going to rip the hose. Is there anyway to lubricate the elbow so it slides in and out of the hose better, without ruining the hose or the elbow? Thanks.

Lubricating it will just make it slide off while you're trying to sleep

Grasp the rubber end of the hose, and the hard plastic of the mask elbow, and wiggle side to side, instead of just pulling straight.

Be careful to grip the ends only, to avoid damaging the flexible part of the hose.
Been there--done that.
Twice.
