heated tubing

Post by Catnapper » Wed Feb 20, 2019 11:44 am

Is the heated tubing for the Dreamstation the same as the heated tubing for the Respironics system one machine? Other than color.

What I mean is are they interchangeable?

Thanks.

On CPAP.com the heated hose for the Dreamstation is a different part than the System One.

I believe that the plug in part that attaches to the humidifier outlet is different between the 2 models and for that reason not interchangeable if you want to keep the heated part of the heated hose functioning.

Now could the PR S1 heated hose just stick on the DreamStation outlet and stay there without having the electrical stuff connect...so it basically would be a non heated hose....that I don't know. I have my doubts that it would stay stuck.

I switched 2 months ago from a PR System 1 760, using heat tubing and humidifier on 3-4 to a Dreamstation bipap -
my tubing works great from my old system.
( not saying their isn't some small design difference somewhere) ,
just that all my hoses work.

Thanks. It looks very much alike. I needed a new hose for my Dreamstation and wondered if the one from my previous machine would work.
